Hey, I'm Chres.
About Me
Welcome to my little corner of the web. Chres' Castle is a personal
blog where I share my research, independent findings, music, and
whatever random things happen to be on my mind. Think of it as a
digital scrapbook — part journal, part archive, part
experiment.
I run the @cdkk.mp3 channel alongside this site, where I post indie
music and sound experiments. Here on the blog, I write about the
things I'm reading, thinking about, or digging into — from
book quotes and wisdom I want to remember, to independent research
and herbology notes, to whatever else catches my curiosity.

Why the Old-School Look?
A Note on the Site
You may notice this site is built in plain HTML 4.01, with no
JavaScript and a design meant to work on older browsers and
devices — including things like Internet Explorer, Netscape,
and even the PSP NetFront browser. This is intentional. Part of what
I enjoy is testing compatibility and accessibility across older
platforms, and keeping the site lightweight enough to run anywhere.
Call it a small act of digital preservation, or just a fun
experiment in restriction.
